Lina is a CPA with more than three decades in senior corporate finance. She held senior financial leadership roles as VP Finance and Corporate Controller at SR Telecom, a multinational publicly listed company with global operations, and as Director of Financial Reporting and Investor Relations at Teleglobe, a billion-dollar telecom carrier, where she participated in its turnaround under Cerberus Capital Management. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Financial Analyst at Future Electronics — one of the largest private companies in Canada — after articling at Ernst & Young.
Across her career, Lina has led the financial reporting and accounting aspects of Canadian and U.S. public offerings and IPOs that raised hundreds of millions in capital, and worked on several cross-border M&A transactions — including post-acquisition integration in France, the Philippines, Chile, Mexico, the U.S., and the U.K. She has dealt extensively with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission on complex accounting matters, and taught advanced accounting in Concordia University's CA program.
She earned her CPA designation at Concordia University, where she also graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Graduate Diploma in Accountancy. From 2006 through 2024, she was a partner in Exceleris, a boutique firm she helped build over nearly two decades, sold in 2024. Lummaris is a deliberate new direction — advisory work, guiding business owners through the financial decisions, transactions and transitions that shape a company.
“Matching the right two parties is a craft we’ve spent a career learning — and the best of those clients become the longest relationships.”
Connect on LinkedIn →Dejan is a CPA who began his career in the technology accounting and audit practice at Ernst & Young, working with start-ups, entrepreneurial firms, and public companies, and leading the financial reporting and accounting aspects of public offerings on the Toronto Stock Exchange that raised hundreds of millions for biotechnology and new-economy clients.
He left Ernst & Young as a manager in the technology practice to join Nexia Biotechnologies as Corporate Controller, where he was instrumental in the company's Initial Public Offering on the TSX and oversaw all aspects of public company financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit, taxation, treasury, and operations. He went on to serve as CFO at Radical Horizon, a telecom venture, where he managed financing, financial reporting, and the business plan through to its sale.
Over the years that followed, Dejan also acted as part-time CFO to a range of growing technology, biotech, and mining companies — both publicly traded and venture-funded. He co-founded Exceleris in 2004, a boutique firm built over nearly two decades and sold in 2024. Lummaris brings that experience directly to business owners — on the M&A, CFO and corporate financial decisions that matter most.
He holds a CPA designation, a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Entrepreneurship from McGill University, and a Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University.
